Very slow website loading

Help!!! I have started experiencing extemely slow site loading from the back end frontend.
When I use the joomlaXplorer to access file folders, the site just sits there (8 -10 minutes) still loading and I have to terminate. I've not had this problem before using the component joomlaXplorer.
Also, at the frontend, it takes a while to load the site. My url is www.houseofpraiseva.org

P.S. I have tried to optimize the images and reduce their sizes as well and still not much has changed.

- Your site took 9 seconds to load here and I don't have a really fast connection. My only suggestion is that the autoplay music can be annoying, I try and avoid autoplay and simply give users a choice to play music if they wish - just my $0.02 for what it's worth.
