Protean template level 2 menu

Hi there! I have found an issue with level 2 submenu items - there is no way to make them appear in 2 columns like level 1 is done. For example demo-version of protean template has main menu at the top right corner. If you hover on 'Pages' link there are 8 submenu items 'About us', 'Contacts' etc. But if you will add several subitems into 'About us' they will always appear in a single column. There is also plus button to make a second or third column but it won't work for level 2.
So, how do I make level 2 submenu to appear in 2 columns?

You can't - columns are only available on the first level of menu in Gantry 5.
