When updating from joomla backend, I am getting a fatal error when trying to login for authentication:
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/libraries/joomla/factory.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php70/pear') in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/plugins/system/rokupdater/ajax.php on line 107

Reply says to disable the rokupdater... I don't understand.
It has previously worked great to help me in keeping many sites updated with rockettheme extensions.
Is the updater not being offered anymore?

No, it is not available anymore. All of our extensions can be updated via Joomla Extensions > Update without the need of RokUpdater.
You can disable it via Plugins Manager > RokUpdater. - Kind regards,
