Simpest way to embed music that doesn't restart when browsing site.

I don't want to mess around with my site much, its been rocking for a coulpe years now. However I'm looking for the easiest way to embed background music that plays consistently (doesn't restart) when a user is clicking around my site.
I've done searches however I'm reluctant to try some of the suggestions I've read with various extensions. I respect Rockettheme devs immensely, and I trust them and this community so I'm reaching out here for an idea or two.
FWIW I use Galatea (fairly modified initially but relatively untouched, always updated, for over 2 years)

- I mean I'm reluctant to install extensions to just "test" with. There's many extensions, and while I can make a test site and start going through them all I'm hoping someone here has done this before and has at least a suggestion, at best a solution, utilizing module code from an existing theme, or a simple html5 embedding, that sort of thing.
