Prevent anchor link from scrolling back to top of page (please help)

hello,
Using chimera template, I have an anchor link on the home page www.canbe.biz/copy/ and in menu item "about us" it should link to the anchor set in a module on the below page
www.canbe.biz/copy/about-can-be/about-us/#rt-utility
when clicking on the about us menu item, it takes you to the anchor of target page but then it scrolls back to the top of the page.
is there a way to prevent this? I want to be able to reach the anchor position from any other page by simply cliking on the about us menu item.
