How to create full screen intro page to HiveMind site?

I want to create a front end landing page that has a link into the site build on Hivemind. How do I do this?
The front end page would only have a full screen glamor shot and a link to the site. Perhaps I could change the index.php naming to home.php and make my static landing page the index.php with a link to home.php. However, I can't figure out how to tell Joomla that the site is now structured around home.php. I played with the live_site variable with no luck.

:'( OK...so now that I feel stupid - I figured it out after walking away from the PC. Obviously, I can use the index.html page that I currently have as a decoy page remain as the intro page with a link to index.php.
