Can RocketLauncher override current Fantastico installation?

  • Can RocketLauncher override current Fantastico installation?

Posted 17 years 1 month ago
    • I have used Fantastico to install Joomla on my site. I also have WHMCS ( a non-Joomla hosting program) installed in a subdirectory under /public_html/.

I want to install a full Rocketlauncher template. Can I do it on top of the current install?
Will it wipe out the WHMCS subdirectory?

If I can't go this route, would uninstalling Joomla in public_html before installing Rocketlauncher also delete the WHMCS subdirectory?

Or does someone have some tips that I may not be aware of? I know there are a lot of very smart people here! :D

      Thank you for the help!

    • Rocketlauncher installs a brand new site, if you don't need the content, then install the template on current site. If you do, uninstall current site and then install the rocketlauncher. You might be able to swap over the SQL data, but I think that could be prone to breaking your site!

I would just uninstall the current Joomla through fantastico, then install rocketlauncher
