Use extensions from other templates

Hello,
How can i use modules and components from other templates? for example i want that image slideshow from hivermind to use it in Synapse template.
Can you put all modules and component in one directory so we can easily dowload and use them?

Hi Lakis...usually you can get easily all that new modules that come with each template at the download section. A the case of Hivemind you are needing the RokHeadRotator, you can get it from there

. Thats a module so you need just install it at your Sinapse template. Later you should read it

Thanks, i got it. Maybe sometime in the future it will be more practical if you would gather all extensions in one place so people be able to find them more easily (just a thought

I understand that upgrading the modules/extensions may be a lot of work - and maybe even something that doesnt always need to be done or won't be done - but at least it'd help save myself and others time and energy if we had a simpler listing of extensions w/dload links according to joomla version.

I think some of the extensions need includes in the template index.php file for java and style sheets. To do this, I think you would need a readme file to go along with it.
