    • I originally tried to use SMF, but have since read all the controversy surrounding it, and since my site is run in J!1.5, Let's not even go there. Then I tried Jfusion and mybb, which was a disaster. Now I'm using fireboard, but it lacks alot of functionality such as polling systems, alot of BBcode tags don't work, and limited templates. Someone int he J! irc this morning suggested Rokbridge and PhpBB3. I just wanted to know what your opinions are out there guys, what do you use, what do you recommend. I would really like an integrated forum system, where my users can login tot he front page and be logge din when they reach the forums. Any help is greatly apprecaited!

    • I've posted about forums everywhere, including here...probably one of the biggest weaknesses of the platform, in my opinion. BUT, that said, if the RokBridge works flawlessly down the road, then I think it's huge...PHPBB3 are some of the best forums with which I have played. :)

I'll "chip in," but $1,000 gets it done? That seems cheap. :)
