What does the psd file do?

I have fireworks and can edit the psd file, i wanted to edit my november templates colour and i did that in fire works, What is my next step? how do i replace my main page template with the psd i edited from fireworks,
Number 2, i noticed we are using smf,is it compatiable with cb enhanced beta 1?

the PSD is an Adobe Photoshop format. Please use the PNG if you are using fireworks.
Regarding SMF, I have no clue about Community Builder compatibility.

- make your modifications you want, turn on the "web layer" then right click on the appropriate slice, and export that individual image as you need.
