Hi RocketTheme Community,
I am semi-new to Rockettheme - have been a member since jan. this year-just reuped for a full year. I am wondering what is the best way to receive help on this forum??? I have posted two questions during my membership period - the first was answered by the community(go team). The second, I am still waiting. I am really proud of what I have learned since working with the rockettheme template-using the forum and the tutorials, but where do you go for help when the forum doesn't respond?? Is there any other source of help for newbies?? I dilligently search the forums and the tutorials for instruction on matters - I don't understand. I see many posts that have multiple responses to their inquiries, HOW DO YOU GET THAT TO HAPPEN???. I am pretty frustrated at this point on what to do now. I thought maybe if I requested insight from the RT community that someone could help me understand what it is that you have to do to get the GOLDEN RESPONSE that you need (when you're at the end of your resources).
Note: By the way, RocketTheme templates are just wonderful, and the Member Site submissions are simply awesome!!

Any question or problem must be posted in the relevant forum, that's about it. I think that the vast majority of members here find the support both swift and helpful, of course some threads may slip through the cracks. Where applicable, post a url to the problem and if need be an annotated image of the problem/ question.

Hi Roland,
Thanks for the quick reply. I agree, I do see many people getting help swiftly and maybe my issue just is slipping through the cracks. I was kind've wondering though, Do you think that the members or the moderators sometimes shy away from helping newbies, because of the increased time investment it requires. (Maybe its too much trouble). I hope that is not the case. I am a Nurse by Profession and I am called upon alot by other Nurses for insight and guidance and while this can get old(I do realize the dilemma) I don't mind doing it soo much - because they learn from each interaction and have to call on me less and less. I don't like asking for help by nature, so what do I do just repost until someone responds - I guess??
Note: By the way I read the "Cool Biker Post" awhile back and thought it was really stand up the way you responded - cool beans!

I think we go out of our way to help newbies especially. The key thing is to state your problem with as much detail as possible: browser used, server setup, steps to reproduce, differences from the demo, and if possible always provide a url. if a url is not possible a screenshot is almost a must. Without these, it's almost impossible to help. And if you provide these kinds of guides, i think you will find help will come swiftly.

I feel rather honored that you replied to my post. I appreciate knowing that your RT has patience for us newbies. I have learned alot, but still sooo much more to learn. Thanks for the great tips on what I need when posting an issue. I have an open issue on the populus board, Mike did initally respond to my inquiry - I wasn't online when he responded and I think somehow I just kind've fell through the cracks - so to speak. I know you're a busy man, but if there is a way that my issue could be brought to the forefront I would so so so appreciate that!!!
RocketTheme is great, The tutorials and forum history is absolutely priceless to members-especially us newbies. And I guess the absolute best thing - is that Rocket Theme's Creator and Owner makes time to give personal service to his members (Now Thats A Big WOW Moment)!!!

Fyii, I try and go the extra mile to help newbies by providing detailed instructions and walking them through even the basic stuff, but everyone gets the same support, no favourites. The only questions that I avoid are questions that I don't know the answer to yet (which is too many... sigh, but I'm learning more each day).

I am soooo sooory, I didn't mean to offend you or anyone at RT - I guess I was in my WOE IS ME state this morning - gloom and doom for all -
But the skies have parted and the blue is shining through again (Hooray)!! I am certain from reading many of your posts that you are truly a benevolent soul, so please don't take my comments from earlier today to heart - they were just a cry for HELLLP!!!
