    • Does your content (articles) have meta tags and descriptions? If not add relevant info in each of your articles.

      Back links are vital try to get quite a few.

    • I believe Google PR is not an instantaneous thing, either. I want to say they update this every quarter or so...an old site of mine showed some movement on the webmaster tool ranking meter, but PR 0 on the 'front end' for about 3 months....

      Is this a brand new site?

      You change the meta settings in the backend, either in the global config (though not recommended, as it applies the same keywords and description for each page/menu item) or the content/article itself. Currently, it looks like you have the default meta tags being used, as your site is using:
      <meta name="description" content="Joomla - the dynamic portal engine and content management system" />
      <meta name="keywords" content="Joomla, joomla" />

      As for your PR, do you see some green in the meter Google has in the WebMaster tools? If so, I suspect you'll have more than PR 0 when they do the next update... :)
