  • installing rocket launcher template?

Posted 17 years 2 weeks ago
    • I have uploaded Joomla_RT_Crhomatophore_j15 to my server all the operating systems are in place and installed correctly but I cannot get it to launch using ie or firefox. I have only done this one time before and that was with the old version. I am about to go nutz. I know I am a noob but I have followed the instructions to the T. I have set up MySQL database and have all the info ready but I can't get the installation process to run and yes I have changes the setting to 777 on all files and subfolders. Please help.

    • yeah but you are looking at the html template which is going to be trashed...this is the "R&D" section of our server and I want to introduce Joomla's cms capabilities to the guys. So I am trying to install it on this partition of the server

    • Then how about the link to the install page where you are going to put the site. I am guessing the last link might as well have been amazon.com

    • Assuming you have already uploaded the Joomla! core pack of files to your Web root directory, be it on your
local machine or a remote host, the next step is to start your Web browser and enter the URL to your Web
site. There are a number of options open to you in this process:
      ● This may simply be http://localhost/joomla for a local installation, or www.yourdomain.com for a
      remote installation.
      ● If you have installed Joomla! in a sub directory of your Web root then you will need to add that
directory to the end of the address for example http://localhost/joomla/test or
      www.yourdomain.com/joomla .
      ● If you have installed Joomla! as a sub-domain on a remote host this might appear as
      www.joomla.yourdomain.com .

    • www.battleconflict.com/Public_html/Jooml...T_Chromatophore_j15/ then hell I don't know what to put after that. I did have it set up as a subdomain and that did not work either. I also do not know why it automatically set up another duplicate subfolder when I copy it to the server. I am about to start chewing on aspirin any minute now. I may just wipe out the whole partition and start again.
