I was smiling, as there are a myriad of members hoping for the same thing.
(myself included)
Well, there are a few that border on a news template, Sporticus News and MediaMogul come to mind (check out the demo server: demo.rockettheme.com/ ), but, to be totally honest, there's not one that rivals some of the other news templates out there, which is a tragedy of Shakespearian proportions, given the talent of these 'Rocket Scientists!'

- I'll throw myself on this wagon (, and I'll probably miss it,) as I also need a News template for my news site. But I got a funny feeling (no, it's not that thing you thinking at ... you got a far too dirty mind) that I won't see this for a while.

Releasing two a month has its drawbacks and facilitates regifting.
II has some highslide login, but not too much different. This is the one I 'sinned' with, but not using it now..not quite ready for prime-time.
