    • Hi Norman,

Go inside the WYSIWYG mosbot and set the Template CSS to 'no' or 'off'. The template is applying it background to the WYSIWYG.

    • Hi Dave,

      Thanks...

      This is what I did.

Mambots > Site Mambots > TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor > Edit

      Parameters:

      Template CSS classes No Yes

      Result:
Still taking the dark template's background.

      Is there any other solution?

      Additional Info:: Joomla 1.0.10

      thanks!

    • Check this:

Site > Global Configuration > Site > Default WYSIWYG Editor: Check and see if the setting matches the WYSIWYG editor that you have edited.

Also, you might try the clear your Global Checkin - System > Global Checkin

See if that mambot is checked, and then edit the mambot again and be sure to select SAVE before closing.

    • Hi Dave,

What you suggested below were followed not just once but three times.

The result was just the same. Did not change anything.

At this point I am still waiting for the solution to this problem. The only solution that I could think right now is to change the background to a lighter one so I could see the text. However, I want the background to be dark.

      Thanks once again.

    • Sorry it didn't work for you, Norman. I don't know what else to do. Maybe someone else would have a better idea.

      Hi Norman,
this is a problem that I was fixed in this way:

copy editor_content.css file from directory mambots/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/css or mambots/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/simple/css (depends from mode that you are using 'advanced' or 'simple' mode) to templates/yourtemplatename/css.
      That's all.
      Bye

    • Giuseppes idea should indeed work, in case it doesnt you could make the editor look for a css file you decide by entering an url to the css file you need..

That option is availble in the admin area under Mambots/Click the edtior/ and you should get a lot of options to your right.

      Thank you guys!
Among the solutions you've suggested, I picked the above solution which is the easiest way to do. It works its magic!
