RocketTheme is growing, and we want to be able to continue our tradition of having highly active, involved, and helpful community forums. Until recently James and Mike have handled the brunt of this with the help of Yves, and others including our new moderator Prim. The forums are becoming very busy and these folks need help. I'm looking to build up the moderator team with some more dedicated people.
I'm looking for some other skilled folks to step up and be able to help the newbies and not-so-newbies with their questions and issues. This requires folks who enjoying reading forums and helping people. We are looking for individuals who can put in a couple of hours per day on the forums and we're willing to pay you for your time and offer you some little RT trinkets and also free memberships.
This is a great way to join the RocketTheme team. We love to recruit for our full time positions from within our own ranks, so becoming a dedicated part-time forum moderator, is the best way to get your foot in the door and move up to full time RocketTheme positions.

- Well, we're looking for folks who have decent html/css/joomla skills. We need people who can scour through the forums and help answer the questions that people have. It's not so important to have the skills to answer every question, as long as you can learn, and are willing to help people.

You could make some kind of ranking/point system to be transformed in free licences or other kind of revenue.
This would be a whay to motivate regular users to help each other.
My sugestion is something like:
A user make x help posts, the mod team rate his work and give somekind of points converted in some bonus licence or revenue.

- The one problem with that post count does not reflect helpful posts. Some people could have 500 posts but all be support questions, rather than answers.

Boy, that is a lot of work....and subject to bias (intentional or not) as I may be a pain and helped out people - does the moderator remember the times I helped or just perceives me as a pain? - "You can learn a lot from a dummy. So, pay attention to yourself." Quote by me.
