  • Module Positions are Wrong

    • I recently updated one of my sites with the TerranTribune Template and when I went to re-shuffle content to the new Module Positions (left2, left3 etc) they weren't listed in the drop-downs or in Site --> Template --> Module Positions.

      I've never run into this issue when installing a new template. Does anyone know what might have happened, and/or how I might fix it?

      This site is Joomla 1.0.15.

    • Strange, the module position in Joomla 1.0 are set in the Administrator -> Site -> Template Manager -> Module Positions. You shouldn't lose any between template changes although you may need to add some if the new template supports positions that you don't have created. In Joomla 1.5 this process is automatically handled dynamically in the templateDetails.xml.

    • Hey Andy, thanks for the quick reply. Strange indeed -- I went and re-added and modified the positions in the template manager. I must have done something dumb, or am getting confused now between 1.0.15 and 1.5. Either way, thanks!
