    • I'm designing a website that must be accessible to computers in Africa. I've been told to try to make the website work on IE4 and windows 98. My question is, is it possible to make a joomla website work on a browser this old? If so, can you suggest a rockettheme template (or any other) that would function properly on an old browser like IE 4?

    • IE6 is what they are tested with, IE5.5 will probably work, but IE4, certainly not i'm afraid.

    • it's probably possible to make the front end function if you use a basic enough template, but the backend will not function in ie4.

    • I helped out a young college student. She only has a Window 95 machine. The browser seemed to not work very well in IE4 with RT templates, BUT...

      I did download FireFox for her and ran the Safe Mode version of that browser with no problems on the frontend.
