    • We would like to put an additional icon to indicate if an article is available in reprint format. This would be added PER ARTICLE, not globally. For information purposes only and would not need to do anything.

      Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?

    • You can set it in Parameters (Advanced) for each article.

    • Thank you, but I think you may have misunderstood. We want to ADD an icon in that upper right hand position where Print, PDF, and Email are now. This would indicate to the reader that the article has a reprint available.

      We would add this icon to each article that had such a reprint available.

    • You're looking at code modifications ... WHERE and HOW are the decisions you need to make.

      One way would be to hack the core Joomla Content component - and this would require database modifications as well ... not good when it comes time to update Joomla.

      - OR -

      You could (or I could for you ... but I'm FAR from cheap) write a custom DeepPockets II sub-template - but this would not be the most elegant of solutions.

      - OR -

      You could write a Mambot (or plugin, or whatever the hell they're called now) which will add and position the icon if an article contains the appropriate {reprint} flag. Far more elegant ... no database mods required ... and means you'll have no problems updating Joomla when the time comes. I think that's the option I'd go for.
