    • Short of doing all the code for you, there's not much "advice" we can give you. To learn how to set up a table, visit www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp .

      If you still need help, let us know.
    • When solved, please modify your original post and add (SOLVED) into the subject AND change your icon to the green check.  This helps people know they can find a solution in your post if they have the same problem.

    • 1) Hook some PayPal IPN into the Joomla User Admin System;
      2) Hack your downloads component so that access is properly controlled;
      3) Hack your forum component so that access is properly controlled;
      4) Hack your support tickets component so that access is properly controlled;
      5) Hack wherever you have your videos to make sure access is properly controlled;
      6) Either hack your quoting component, or use a pencil to record who gets discounts.

      - or -

      1) Hook some PayPal IPN into the Joomla User Admin System;
      2) Write an impossibly complex Mambot (or plugin - or whatever the hell they're called these days) that will override output in all these areas and hope it sticks.

      There ya go - I've practically flowcharted it for ya :shock:

      (a little more detail on where you're thinking of going might help constructive suggestions flow also)

    • I'm sorry - I immediately assumed you meant setting the table itself with payments and information...the running of that system would be much more complicated...(obviously)

    • That was kinda the point of my post ...

      Dude, you hold yourself out as a Web Developer offering Security services amongst other things (I read your signature). Even if by some mysterious quirk of the universe someone has written a component that does exactly what you're after, why would you trust it?

      I THINK the Community Builder component at the extensions directory may offer some code for you to check out how to do the IPN / User Management modifications ... I don't really know though - I haven't touched it since it compromised a client's system a couple of years ago.

      The best advice I can give there is - PayPal has plenty of documentation about IPN, and Joomla offers one hella-excellent set of API docs.

      For the rest - you're gonna be reading a LOT of code written by other people to figure out for yourself.

      and yes thanks also, i added the paypal ipn to the link so when user clicks on join now, or register it redirect them to my AEC component from there they are presented wit the plan they choose, and proceed to create login info. am still working on it. as soon as i finish testing with my paypal sandbox. ill post how i did it here.

    • That looks like the membership structure and page from NinjaForge.com . Have you asked them on their forum?

      Also, be cautious of plugins and hacking too much into your code. At some point customers might demand that their information is protected under a SSL Cert. and then Joomla is going to make a big move to version 1.6 with some significant differences. Just a heads up if it hasn't been on your mind.
