How does one implement the new Google canonical tag within the header, the example shown at the site you'll see in a moment suggests that the tag differs from article to article, but presumably we do not have access to all articles and only the main template header.

Brilliant plugin, works well too however I'm not entirely sure how this works because it doesn't add the tag:
<link rel=”canonical” href=” www.example.com ” />
Well at least it isn't visible in my source!
