I am working on a site for the YMCA and they have an old server but are going to be moving everything to a new server with Go Daddy. I am building the site on the new server with Go Daddy under another domain name. They wanted to leave their old website up and running while I built the new one. When the site is finished and it comes time to point their domain name at the new server and website what do I need to do? For example the old web address is
www.sterlingrockfallsymca.org
and the one that I have been using is
www.srfymca.org
to build my Joomla site under. When I am done with the new website what will I have to do to make the web address
www.sterlingrockfallsymca.org
again?

hi,
after you finished on www.srfymca.org just change the DNS of www.sterlingrockfallsymca.org point to the new server, then change the livesite in your joomla configuration.php from www.srfymca.org to www.sterlingrockfallsymca.org
