    • I just joined this club and now I'm looking for some design help.

I posted in the Marketplace and, though it's only been a few hours it's allowed me to find some other posts where members had asked the same question -- and got ZERO responses.

Suggestion: This is where moderators can help. If you know that there's nobody on the board who does this kind of work and others have failed to find w2hat they need, it would be nice to answer the post or PM the poster, letting him/her know that the chances are slim to find anyone. Then, they wouldn't waste a lot of time.

      Thanks.

      Hi,

I checked your post in marketplace:
      www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=17..._v=viewtopic#p288368

but I couldn't find you mentioned any problem there. I only find that you want to work on Akiraka, Mixxmag, and Hyperion template.

if you can post your issue to the specific template forum, we will for sure try to help you.

how do you know that there were members which did not get any response? the requests in the marketplace get usually answered via pm and not in the thread itself, so there isnt a way for you to see if the requests were answered or not.

why would any moderator contact you only 3.5 hours after your post to tell you that you might be wasting your time? we dont know if you did or did not get a pm regarding an offer. in the end, a private message is what it is, "private".

of course none of us can give you a guarantee that you will find someone to do the work for you, but of course you are welcome to post your detailed questions into the specific templates support forum. i have seen that you did this before and moderator amandeep gave you an answer after only 12min.

      all the best, kat :)

    • Hi Arifin,

My issue is that I want a designer who is familiar with Rocket Theme product, who will build out my site. After the post I had noticed that others had made similar requests, but got zero replies.

I think I was clear that I wanted to hire someone to create the site infrastructure, and I would lay in the content.

My only point is that, if this is the case and there are no designers for hire here, mods should just tell the poster that there are no private designers for hire here, and to try elsewhere.

Thus, I don't have a design or template problem... I just want to find someone to do the work for me.

Is there anyone here like that?

      Thanks.

    • Hi Kat,

Didn't mean to touch off a firestorm...it was just a suggestion.

I came to the conclusion that nobody was responding because all such posts on the front page had zero replies. If this is because it all comes from PMs, then fine.

Maybe if there was a directory of potential designers it would help.

I don't have a list of detailed questions for this project, I just want someone to build it. As for the response of the mod on the question I posted, it did come quickly. You'll notice that I wasn't taking the mods to task in general, just the specific issue.

      Thanks for the message.
