Try replacing only your index.php file as many times, sometimes hackers only replace this file - Quick tips::
1) Clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect
2) Provide link to your site to help us help you better
3) Use in firebug

Also check the version you are using.
You should be running at least 1.5.6, or the latest version, 1.5.9.
Put a good back-up and restore system in place by backing up your files and database on a regular basis.
You can do this manually, or use something like JoomlaPack to do it. - Thanks,

- They typically place an index.html file in your root directory. Make sure you delete that.

Is it possible for someone to hack a website if they don't have your login info at the host?
That may seem like a silly question but I talked with a guy once who swore he never gave his login to anybody -- not another soul -- and he was hacked.
Just need to know. Thanks.

Yes, and in this case it was done due to an SQL injection that made it possible to reset the admin password. That bug has been fixed since last year though.

Thank you all. Apologize for replying late. I took me sometime to understand what to do.
Here is what I've done so far.
1- I've changed the index file.
2-I've changed the password using this link

3- Now i receive ''restricted access'' msg on the website. I've changed global.php using the information on this link

But I still have restricted access info.
Can anyone please advise what I should do?
