    Article Title Colors

Posted 16 years 2 months ago
    • I gave this thread a shot on the Replicant v2 Thread, but it was apparently just ignored. So I am posing it here in hopes for a resolution. I really doubt I am the first to ever think of this or have these problems.

Since no one ever goes back and revisits the "Solved" threads to see if anyone had posted updates or problem they've had with them, because all solved threads are always solved for everyone....

Feel free to reference this post, before reading on:

So far I've figured out that Firefox3 and IE6 do not show these article title colors, but IE7 does. Does anyone know why?

Here is a large screen shot of each FF3 and IE7, and subsequent code to show the problem. The screen shot is very large so that you can see the code.

The client is furious that things don't match. I need answers!

    • I wouldn't imagine anyone has ever had this complaint before, because there is nothing to complain about. The template you chose to implement came with a feature that allowed MODULE titles to be in different colours. It was never meant to extend to ARTICLE titles - but James gave you all you needed to get that working anyway.

From what I can see of your code, you haven't followed his instructions correctly as your "contentheadings" aren't wrapped in H3 tags - which means the span tags won't get created.

C'mon man ... the mods and people like myself are here to offer a little support if we can - not build your site for you. Frankly, I don't care how furious your client gets after YOU took his money and made promises YOU couldn't keep.
