all gone...

  • all gone...

    • Just to confirm...

I was moving a joomla install from one of my servers to another.

Importing the database, I didn't notice the prefix I'd used was the same as another site on the server that already existed. And now... I've destroyed the install.

      Anything I can do?

    • You could use JoomlaPack and try to move the site from one server to the next.

As far as the DB you've overwritten, if you don't have a back-up, see if your host does.

Most hosts back up the DBs at least once a day and keep the back-up for three days or so.
    • Thanks,

    • So, you were moving a site from A to B and the DB you imported from site A to the DB on site B was overwritten?

And you're sure you imported the data to the existing DB on site B, not a new one?

In that case, I'd say yes.
    • Thanks,
