errors after moving files from folder - document root

I've just about completed a website for a guy... We decided to install it in a folder, and not in the document root. Earlier tonight he decided to move all the files from the folder, to the documentroot, so it would look like
www.domene.no/joomla/
instead of
www.domene.no/folder/joomla
...
Then...

Is it correct that the path has TWO 'domene's ? Like this:
/customers/domene/domene/httpd.www/

I have no idea, ONE.com webhotel, never used it before..
I noticed now that all 'extra' components installed is missing from the /administrator/ folder.. That's what they get for not making a backup before screwing around
I guess reinstall is the only solution here.. sooo stupid

It looks to me as though when he moved it (and I don't care how passionately he denies it), he didn't move the whole installation but tried to do the "smart" thing and re-create the structure in the new location before filling it.
Without seeing the back-end, however, it's really inpossible for us to tell exactly what he's done.
