how to find out the module position sizes?

- hi, i'm using versatility template.it has 45 module positions and i love it. the only problem is i couldn't find the module position sizes so i can place ads and other stuff. is there a way to find out? thanks

If you would like to take a look for yourself, try FireBug within FireFox. This software is free and is an excellent web editing tool. www.getfirebug.com
There are some excellent tutorials by James: Make sure to watch the video, linked at the end of each chapter! www.rockettheme.com/blog/coding/ ... ls-firebug
Ensure you are using the most up to date version of the extensions and the template. Lots of fixes have been added.
Also, in FireFox there are many Tools (developer) that are available. Views for elements, css validation, the list is varied and long!

Aro,
I understood your question. There is no one answer to the size of a module or it's position. It is measured by many things. RT templates are dynamic, hence the beauty of CMS. If you set your page width for example to 800 all your columns, module positions etc., will be smaller. If you set your page width to 1200 your module positions will open up.
The tools I provided above allow you to look at the code of your pages and see how your output has been set to your specifications not only in measurements, but in many formats.
I have attached a screen shot here as a working example. In Firefox I selected Information > Display Block Size. Which gives you the measurements.

- Firebug, as Nanci initially suggested is a good tool. I recommend the Layout tab as shown in the attached screenshot.
