    • Applied template to existing install - adding Module positions

When you apply a template to an existing install, the Module positions are coded into the template but some do not show up in the Module Manager.

Extensions > Module Manager > New > Choose the type of Module you want to add.

By default, 'left' shows in the Position field.

Click in the Position field, it will turn yellow.

Clear the field and type the name of the new position.

Don't worry, clearing 'left' from the position field will not delete it!

Also, before creating the new position be sure it doesn't exist, creating a second position with the same name can lead to strange behavior.

    • And make sure you turn off the WYSIWYG in the global configuration/site if you are entering raw code. I made that mistake and lost alot of time.
