They are separate:
1) One set of post are post created by you
2) The second set is the post created by others that you have replied to
However, when you look at "your post" the list will display both sets above.
If you want a separate list for your own use try using the bookmark to create you list.

- When you book mark within phpBB3, they are saved in your bookmarks in the User Control Panel, they won't appear in your browsers favorites unless you book mark them with your browser.

At the top of the form page you will see links to the right > bookmark > subscribe topic
If you bookmark post or subscribe to post they will preview as a separate list
From there you can manage the two list by visiting your User Control Panel -
