Andy, what's good rate for custom Jomsocial RT template?

I am very happy with the Moxy template, and am using it for my latest project.
However, Moxy uses a gray background (I've chosen not to change it to white, based on this post ).
Unfortunately, Jomsocial looks uglier than normal, with its stock template, under a grey background.

Thus, I wonder if Andy might chime in, as to how much work is involved, in customizing Jomsocial to match a particular template?
The reason I ask is because it would be worth my while (if the price is ok, and a developer can be found) to pay someone to do this. I know RT is so busy, so maybe a user is out there who can? But, I don't really know, what a fair price would be?
If I can get a 'cost yardstick', I reckon I can find someone on RT to do this. If so, I'll release it free + Open Source (maybe for RT members only?), once its done!

Thanks JEM, I think that's a good idea. However, the nature of my proposal (an RT item I wish to purchase, and then pass back to the RT community free of charge) is somewhat unique.
Thus, if it's all right, perhaps we could keep this post in the General forum for 24 hours or so, and then move over to Marketplace?

I have done something similar to what you are asking for.
The amount of work involved is reasonable, but still it will require at least several days of work. Have you had a look at the contributions by one of the members for solarsentinel?
You may be able to pick up some hints from his posts.
What I did was recoding the template to match meridian, but it meant recoding each template file, then checking browser compatibility, which is a major PITA. - *Karma comes in many forms, my personal favourite is the random saucepan from the sky* J.Spencer 17-02-2009

Yes, I've seen Ivo's SolarSentinel customization, Roeland. That's what first got me thinking, that an RT Jomsocial template could be done by an indie, outside RT.
For me, the problem is lack of time, to mess around and figure it out on my own. Thus my preference to hire someone, if that's possible, for a Jomsocial Moxy version.

Then again, if it's too expensive, I could probably muck around for a day by myself, and at least make it slightly better.
Thus, my wondering of a good price to pay, for such a thing, instead?
