'Click' out of Front page Template?

  • 'Click' out of Front page Template?

    • Basic Question:
      When we click on the different product categories the splash page (front page template) shows up on every page. How can we turn that off or set it to 'click' out of that template?

      Expanded Question:
      -If we manually change in the url "Itemid=1" to "Itemid=53", then it fixes the problem.
      -We have menu assignment for the product categories set to 'all', so that the product categories menu shows up on every page, which we want.
      -The slideshow (splash page) is only set to the home page.

      Basically, The problem is that the product categories links keep opening up in the home page rather than a new browse template.
