Main menu - Wrapper underneath nothing else..possible?

    • HI,

Is it possible to have a new site inside the wrapper, but the main joomla menu and the wrapper are then the ONLY things on the page whilst viewing the wrapper?

      example:

      MENU ITEM1 - MENU ITEM2 - MENU ITEM3 - MENU ITEM(WRAPPER)

The contents of the wrapper shown here...nothing else..

Basically I want to bring my forums into my joomla site, but the problem with the wrapper is that then I have scroll bars on the wrapper block and also on the broswer..This is so annoying for anyone who has ever tried it. And totally user un friendly.

I have yet to see the wrapper used for any good reason, that did not force scroll bars on long pages/content.

      IS this possible?

I got to thinking about it looking at an extension called 'Project fork' that has an option within it to turn the template off, but this is too extreme and def. not integrated. I want to keep my awesome RT template but bring my forum in under the main menu, but with only scroll bars on the browser.

If someone has done this please let me know how it was done.

    • Wrapper is always a bad idea for a forum. It really is not designed for that.
What forum software are you using?
phpbb3 and RokBridge work pretty well along with the RT phpbb3 styles and other mods.
Might want to consider looking into it.
