ive been going at template overrides for some time now and can't get the result that i need i was wondering how did u guys get your blog layout like that on the frontend, that layout match exactly waht i want to do show date, and posted by how did u guys setup this temp override thanks
Yeah! I was interested in this aswell....
I posted a thread and asked the team- but it kinda faded away...
But there must be a way.
it looks like template override is the only way, i was trying to figure out how to do it. i ran in some problems trying to get the layout i need.
development.aurorathemes.com
if you go to that link u see thats the layout i want to get with the dates. all that is just pure html/css but i want to incorporate it in joomla so joomla renders that page like that.
Template overrides are in my opinion the best and easiest way to get it done but not the only way. You could change the core files but they would be overwritten each time you update. You could also use a custom component or module.

which custom component or module your referring to, i asked the guys at K2, but i havn't got any response, is there an solution u prefer
Its a shame that the RT team couldn't fix a module for a blog section ( like what you guys have )- this would be much easier !
I am looking into Wordpress, and see if I could wrap it !
