I can't find where background images (eg. news flash background) are?

- I want to delete the news flash section and have been able to remove it from the template (digiether). However, the greyish blue background box still appears...I believe it is called de_rightnav_fade.png ...I am new to Joomla and doing some experimenting but having trouble where to manipulate/delete this image using the joomla menus. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Gary
