How do I create a custom header?

I have an oscommerce site that I will be adding a blog to. I want to use joomla as my blog and one of the rocketthemes. Honestly, my oscommerce site theme is nothing like any of the rocketthemes so what I want to do is to take the header from my oscommerce and place it in the header of my joomla site.
the entire header would be images with hard coded links for the navigation menu. I am wondering how I could replace the logo area and all of the code and use my image(s) with links. Is there a theme you would recommend to use that would make this easy? I need the theme to have both right & left columns too.... You can see the oscommerce site if you go here:

You could do this with any RT theme. There wouldn't be one in particular that would make your job any easier. Essentially you would copy your html, css, images, etc. over. If that sounds like too much you could pay someone to help - www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=175&rb_v=viewforum
