Hi Folks,
I am interested in your suggestions for a simple, bright, clean template for joomla 1.5 that has modern functionality. You can view the site as is now: www.seawead.org
I like the old template but it is a bit of a pain to get it working in 1.5 (just migrated) and would prefer something that is 1.5 native at this point.
Generally, I would like to use rokslideshow across the full width of the body on the homepage, a horizontal menu system with suckerfish or similar nav system near the top and a single column layout for the body section. I might be interested in some teaser module use across the top but that depends on whether I produce more content than I have been doing so lately (kinda unlikely but would like that option).
I would like more white space around the article leads than appears in the current template.
I would like the template to not bog too much for folks with relatively slow computers and internet speeds.
I would also like to integrate a wordpress photoblog into the web site somewhere either via a wrapper or some other elegant solution someone here might suggest.
So far the inexus templates looks like it might work but I thought before I dig too deep in customizing I would seek input from expert designer types here on the forum.
