Is the splitmenu in Sporticus News transferable?

Hi,
I'd like to know if I can take the new split menu with 3rd level vertical menu in sporticus and transfer it into subtle trooper? What parts do I need to transfer, the css i'm sure, but what about the php files? Is this possible or would it be a real headache?
