Future Release Predictions
It is impossible to give a definite time for future releases of Joomla 1.6. Our best "guess" for the availability of future versions is late February 2010 for Beta 1 and late March of 2010 for the first stable version. The ability to deliver at these times is directly proportional to the amount of volunteer help the project receives.
So, that is a quote from Joomla.org itself and I don't know if this has been discussed or there is special placed to go see or talk about it...but - Um -
What's the deal with 1.6? If it goes stable next month -
When are we looking at templates?
Are you doing the conversion thingy like 1.0 to 1.5?
What goodies do we have to look forward to?
Just wondering.

I think we'll have faster than light travel by 2011, doesn't mean its going to happen....

is there a chance to get a J1.6 Template from you guys? I am working on a new website which will launch spring/summer next year. Therefor I build it with J1.6.
Any Chance?
