Expression Engine Templates??

Hi!
I have been reading a lot of good comments about Expression Engine and how flexible and easy to use it is. I have also read that there is no good templates providers, and even though it seems that it's pretty easy to create a template, you still need some knowledge that many people might not have.
So I have 2 questions:
1) Have the RT team ever thought about the possibility of creating templates for Expression Engine?
2) What is your experience with that CMS? Is it as wonderful as many people say?

1) I haven't heard anything... but I must say RT's plate is pretty full at this point especially with the launch of Drupal themes and the 'catch up' to get current themes updated.
(Although you never know, Andy is quite the magician when it comes to pulling things out his sleeve.
)
2) Could you provide some links to sites or documentation so we can take a look? - Thanks,
