    Site slows to a crawl when MissionControl is active

    • I've installed MissionControl (ver. 1.5.3) on several sites and it works well. It's a game changer for Joomla.

      For one site running Joomla 1.5.22 (Hybrid template with Gantry 3.1.4), when MC is active, navigating the back-end is painfully slow. Where/how can I begin troubleshooting to determine why? Any suggestions? Thanks.

      Looking at Safari's activity monitor, it appears to hang up trying to access something at gravatar.com/avatar/f221 ....

    • You can turn off the gravatar stuff in the MC template params.
