Hope this is OK to ask, I guess the mod_sections is broken in Joomla, so I need a way to display my sections in various ways...
- Sort of like here: www.theknot.com/ on the left side, along with links to that section.
- and also like Section | Section | Section | Section (or similar) (and will need to be able to span 2 or 3 lines since I have 33 sections).
I would think this would be EASY, this function is on just about every website out there, but I can't get Joomla to do it.
Or, if anyone has suggestions, here's more details of what I'm looking for. My website is wedding-related and I have 33 "sections" (to me, a "section" is the major wedding service provider types - Dresses, Cakes, Entertainment, Photography, Venues, Flowers).
Under each section is from 1 to 5 "categories" (for example, under Entertainment, we have DJs, Bands, Soloists/Ensembles, Dancers, and Impersonators)
So, I need to make a simple list of Sections, that when you click on it, you go to a page with a bulleted list, or even a listing of all the "articles" in that Section. mod_section SHOULD work for this, but it's not working, and MANY other people are having the same problem.

Sections are created first, then Categories are created and saved to Sections.
From there, you create Menus to display them.
