Failure of Website Transfer
Posted 14 years 3 months ago
This is not a Rockettheme problem, but I'm hoping that someone here can help me with it.
I have several websites on a reseller account (e.g. myaccountname.com - I'm not using the real addresses). I built a Joomla-based website on a new account in a folder on that reseller account (myaccountname.com/newsite), as I have done previously. The website had previously been in an account on a different hosting company.
When I changed the DNS servers on the domain name to point to the reseller account (ns1.myaccountname.com and ns2.myaccountname.com), it has not worked properly. When I go to newsite.com, I see the following on the screen:
Index of/
* cgi-bin/
* images/
* postinfor.html
The website still shows properly when I go to myaccountname.com/newsite/ - that is the address that I when to while I built the site on the reseller account.
Can anyone tell me what I did incorrectly? I hope that I have given enough information. I have not had this problem with previous websites.

Thanks for your reply. I found that I had installed Joomla into the wrong account - the reseller account instead of the newsite account. Much embarassment!
