but is not Hydra / fork a backend solution for teams to use for that particular site?
what about a project management solution that CB users can create from CB lists with the originator being admin of that project/ task and colab on school projects / business tasks??

I'm using Hydra on the front end.
If by "use for that particular site" you mean that it can only be used for one project, that project being the site it's installed on, the answer is "no". I use it to manage various projects. - Last Edit: 18 years 2 weeks ago by Donna Vincent.

- I'm using activeCollab, free and open source. It doesn't run on Joomla site, it's separate but has a lot of functionality. They are going to be releasing the next version pretty soon. More at www.activecollab.com .

Thank You for your help,, but what I didnt convey well is I DONT want to use it on various projects.. I want the community members to have a project / task management tool available to them.. one that allows THEM to great lists from Community Builder that THEY then manage THEIR own teams as they work through collab. projects.
