    • Hi Guys,

      I am making a website for a client that wants to be able to have clients/members who pay for a subscription to be able to access an online course/lessons.

      He is a personal trainer/life coach and needs clients to have private access to pdf/documents he has made and the ability for them to answer questions and do homework.

      I dont even know what sort of components out there to use, found a couple LMS components that load SCORM lessons, but thats way to hard an avenue to go down.

      Please any ideas or comments would really help. He only has a few doc. files for clients to work from.

      there are a lot of good subscription components out there, did you test anything of it right now? For example AEC , who have a great developer-team. Next question would be, if you want a Joomla 1.5 or 1.6 installation?
      On Joomla 1.5, i suggest the Juga component, to manage the access controll system.

      Should be the cleanest solution for a subscription system under Joomla - then you can restrict some areas, where you bring in your contents like you want.

    • Akeeba has also introduced a new subscription module which they use. Haven't used it yet, but it's free so it might be worth a look.

      Well if any of you are interested I ended up using projectfork.
      Its a great task and project manager and very easy to use and manage. And for the subscriptions I used MightyMembership. Thanks for your help.
