SOLVED Directory permissions.

  • SOLVED Directory permissions.

    • I was wondering about these,
Reading all around the web about using joomla and directory permissions.
Now everywhere it says no to 777 on permissions.
But anything else lists my directories in system help/directory permissions list as unwritable.

      Would anyone have any suggestions?

      Regards
      Darren

    • Yes I am dyslexic but does not mean that I am slow or can not read or write, just takes me a bit longer than most.

    • 755 is standard for Joomla but on some hosts that doesn't work so you need 757.

You can always change the directories temporarily if you wish.
