Hi
About to start a new project; and was looking for some sage advice, regarding a tricky bit of the project.
The site is a 'Tender/ contract directory' and the client is looking to have it setup so that when the user registers on the site - they then select a number of (multiple) Countries and Industries that they would like to receive updates on (i.e. latest tenders that are posted into a category on the site.).
The user then receives a scheduled email regarding the latest 'Tenders' in that specified category - dependent on their user level. i.e. Free Users get updates once a week. Paid Bronze members get daily updates.
Is there a component or group of components, that someone has come across that can achieve this ?
So far, I am looking to use FlexiContent for the CCK, JomSocial, JoomlaXi Profile Types and maybe AEC for the subscription side of things and defining the profile types. Now I am just looking for something for the email side of things (witch is kind of the important part
)
