How do I edit HTML?

Hello
I want to edit a line in HTML, The line is part of what shows in Google search.
The Meta description can be edited in Joomla 'Global config' and 'articles' however the line I want to edit is named 'Title'
I can see the page when I either select View > Page Source from desktop or Ctrl > U
The problem is I can't see how to get to this sheet to edit in either backend, Filezilla or webhost file manager.
I'm baffled
Can anyone help?

Goto extensions>template manager>Select your template.
Then at the top it says EDIT HTML.
And it should be there
If you want to edit the title of your site, i wouldnt do it via the HTML...
if you goto menus>main menu>Home you will see "Parameters (System)" on the right.
Click that and you will see "Page Title" and a box to enter a custom page title.

After a few days of scratching my head and leaving this post 10 mins ago, I came across the solution.
I managed to change this as suggested by Adamck by going through the Menu's
(Hello Adam in Southport, Im in Liverpool
)
This has solved my problem
