Hi Guys.
Ok so... in 1.5 Joomla i was using SQL2EXCEL PRO (paid) in order to run reports from a few set tables that a user could download it his own request.
This works great and is very easy to use!
But... it appears the owner had just given up on the entire project
which is a big shame!
So... does anyone know of any other extensions which will allow me to create an excel worksheet from MySql?
I dont mind writing something in PHP to do the job if there isnt a Joomla extension for it, but i just dont know where to begin!

I was also dissapointed about this extension being abandoned, I've been using this on several 1.5 sites which I will be updating soon to 2.5 ... you say you have it working on 1.7, have you been able to test it in 2.5? ....I'll pm you as well
