Yes, I have a large site and it would be a good thing to protect it more.
I sent some pre sales questions and I will let you know their answer.

    • Hi!

I sent first some questions related to CB use, sitemap generator script use and keywords/expressions to prevent mysql injections.

      This is their answer:
      Hello,

is and young component and it is modified significantly from release to
      release.
We will add more and more preg expressions for php am sql injections with
      every new release.

Sitemap generation will not be considered as Flood because it is not
      generated using HTTP protocol.

PHP injection will not make any difficulties to your CB users until they try
      to inject :)

Then I sent a second message to know if they plan to make this component compatible with joomla 1.5

      their reply:
I am not sure about 1.5 at the moment due to Joomla license policy. SO I can not tell you for sure but most possibly we will transfer all our components in September.

Well, I don't understand well their answer about 1.5 version. I don't know if they really plan to make the component compatible or if it's not certain! ???

    • I think they simply mean that they are not going to support J1.5 and that the "transfer" they are talking about is to support Mambo.

      Hmmm...What do you think?

    • It's a proprietary, non GPL component. So going to 1.5 (or even staying at 1.0.x) is now a legal minefield unless you are GPL compliant.

Yep, it's not a good thing in my opinion...

ok, now the fimal answer from the developper:
I am sorry but this is not clear yet about comparability with 1.5 version, we are not sure yet. Really it depends on future Joomla license if it remains as it is the component will be developed, but if not I am terribly sorry it won't.

Infortunately, I don't see why buy an extension when I know it will not supported with next joomla version.
